Christmas Is Not About Toys!
As Christmas time approaches, many children focus on what toys they will find under the tree. Too often, they forget the true meaning of Christmas.
In his new Christmas book Rugby arrives in time to help a young boy who is feeling sorry for himself. The boy had been looking through the window, hoping to see a sleigh in the sky. Instead, he sees a strange shape approaching that has great big ears. He gets excited when it comes closer and he sees that the shape is a dog in a wheelchair, and shouts, “He is just like me!”
The boy’s mom opens the door and Rugby comes in and begins to share his upbeat message. As many readers know, Rugby’s enthusiasm about life is infectious! This story is no exception!
Rugby reminds the boy of the true meaning of Christmas and asks him to help him spread the word.
